Started adapting the '78 wheels to the '98 bike. The rear is almost there, just need to get new sprockets so that I can get the alignment right. The brake side is done. Then clean, paint or powdercoat, new seals, and so on.
I think the 18" wheel looks much better.
The front wheel was a job! Had to chisel the rotor bolts out, but got them out with some help from a couple friends. The newer rotors have a smaller center hole, so I have to mill them out a little to make them work on the older wheels. I think they will bolt right on, but we'll see. Famous last words and all that.
I also started to design a mount for the Hayabusa rearsets I have, but that may take some time, too.
